EcoBin Smart Waste Sorting System

EcoBin was one of my earlier AI and robotics projects. I built it as a smart waste-sorting system that used a webcam, computer vision, and servo-controlled lids to help people dispose of items correctly. I trained a classification model in Google Teachable Machine, used OpenCV to process live webcam input, and connected the model output to a physical bin mechanism that opened the correct compartment for compost, trash, or recycling. The project was an early exploration of how machine learning and hardware automation can be applied to everyday environmental problems.
